Since day one, UNIFEM recognised the atrocity of acid crime in Pakistan and decided to help bring a sustainable change with regard to acid violence. At  SAARC meeting, UNIFEM emphasised the need to implement CEDAW and fight at a regional level against acid violence.

Today, UNIFEM is supporting all the legal consultation in Pakistan to redraft the ACCPB; with such collaboration, eradicating acid violence CAN become  a dream come true…
